So by now you all should have noticed that the Dai-Cast Episode 52 Spectacular hasn’t been released for consumption. Well, there’s a reason for that, and a very NON-technical one at that.
You see, I am currently unable to access my keyboard for extended periods of time, due to debilitating back pain. Oddly enough, it seems to be something that hits me every February, or at least these past 3 years. Impending Oscar announcements, stress in the workplace, Valentines Day, sunspots? Who knows what the cause is, the result is the same…
So Dai-Cast is going to take another week off to let this clear itself up, and hopefully get the necessary editing and compositing done to keep you, the viewing public, happy.
I wish I could quit you…
Why did you use Brokenback for this comment? Good flick. A lot of the Oscar flicks the lsat few years have disapointed me.

Bryan, I used Brokeback for the comment, simply for the fact that I feel like I have a “broken back” at the moment. Subtle punnery. As for what the site is built on, it’s Wordpress with a modified K2 theme. There may be ads in the future, but for the moment, Adsense doesn’t play nice with K2, and I don’t feel much like annoying our readers with inline ads on each post. Glad you’re a reader though, nice to hear some more people out in Japan enjoy the site and show!
Heather, thanks for the sympathy, but it’s a little known fact that in reality Adam and Beej have agreed on absolutely nothing. Ask either of them, I’m sure they’ll tell you it’s the truth, or false, depending on who you ask!
