I hope that every time Ian doesn’t host Dai-cast it’s called Amateur Hour.

I like how Amateur Hour is described as being “Dai-Cast Amateur Hour being a version of a weekly podcast called Dia-Cast where we talk about Japan and Japan stuff.”

Hi gang. Just wanted to drop you a line about this episode, and also about the return of Dai-Cast.

First, thank you for giving us a good first-person perspective of what’s been going on in Japan since the disaster. With all the maddening bullshit in the states from the likes of Rush Limbaugh and the Facebook crowd using it all for Japan-bashing fodder, it was good to hear what’s actually been happening there.

I also wanted to say how much I appreciate the return of Dai-Cast. I came across it a couple of episodes before it went off the air, so I survived on episodes of The 99-Yen Challenge until you resurfaced. I especially enjoyed the two episodes before this one. It’s so nice to have you back.

Funny thing, going to JD bracco JR. High in my youth I actually did make a gun (blowgun) in school, it consisted of a single staple as the sharp poker, a plastic shoelace tip _with the staple straightened out inside it) with a small amount of lace fanned out for the skirt. Then a pen tube for the gun itself.

If only I’d put this much effort into the schoolwork.
